PHARMACY
Pharmacists
have extensive knowledge of medications and clinical therapeutics. Today's
pharmacist must not only be a dispenser of prescriptions but be aware of benefits
and risks of drug treatments. Monitoring drug therapy and counseling consumers
are important roles of a pharmacist. Pre-pharmacy students generally spend
two years at UTC and then four years at an approved pharmacy school.
All pharmacy schools have
slightly different admission requirements.
