UTC Center for Physical Activity and Health Enhancement
The UTC Center for Physical Activity and Health Enhancement is designed for those individuals who prefer a supervised, comprehensive exercise program. The Center is open to all faculty, staff, and their spouses. The fitness screening includes assessments for aerobic capacity, body composition, muscular strength and flexibility. Based on the results of these tests, an individualized exercise program is written for the participant. The participant may then be re-evaluated for progress at a later date of their choice. The program serves as training for the undergraduate majors in the exercise science options. The Center is located in Room 115 of the Arena and is fully equipped with aerobic and resistance training equipment.
The coordinator of the UTC Center for Physical Activity and Health Enhancement is Carol Oglesby.
