Sport and Leisure Services Administration

 

The professional disciplines that comprise Sport & Leisure Services Administration prepare students for management and leadership positions in many commercial settings. It recognizes the marriage between sport and society, and allows majors to select an emphasis on either sport administration (the business of sport) or traditional leisure services, such as recreation and tourism management.

 

Looking for an adventurous way to earn a few credits this summer?  Join us for a special topics course in Adventure Tourism during the first summer session!  This class will be a survey of adventure activities available in the Chattanooga area (climbing, hiking, boating, hangliding, etc.), incorporating tourism curriculum and demonstrating why our city is a top destination for adventure seekers across the country.  No outdoor experience is required, just bring an adventurous spirit.  This is a field-based course with a unique class schedule.  Please refer to the webpage to be sure that the itinerary will work for your summer schedule.  Contact Andrew Bailey for questions or further information.
