ATEP Scholarships and Assistantship Packages

Opportunities for either partial graduate assistantship packages or scholarships for ATEP students exist from year-to-year.  The amount of financial assistance is available varies from year-to-year depending on numerous factors eyond the control of the GATP. To qualify for financial awards the student do the following:

  • must have COMPLETED one academic year in the program
  • have NO disciplinary actions against them
  • have at least a 3.30 GPA for a scholarship and a 3.5 for a partial graduate assistantship

Partial Graduate Assistantship Packages:

There are a limited number of partial (half) graduate assistantship packages available to ATEP students. Students interested in a partial graduate assistantship must submit a letter to the Program Director by April 30 for the following academic year. This letter must include an explanation of why the student feels he/she should receive the assistantship and may also include the need. In addition, each student is required to submit a Graduate Assistantship Application to the Graduate School by May 01 for the following year. All interested students are encouraged to apply. Decisions will be made by August 01. Each applicant will be notified of the committee decision with a letter sent from the Program Director. Students accepting an assistantship package are not eligible for program scholarships.

 

Scholarships:

There will be a limited number of (+/-)$1000.00 scholarships available to ATEP students. Students interested in a must submit a letter to the Program Director by April 30 for the Fall semester and December 15 for the Spring semester. This letter must include an explanation of why the student feels he/she should receive the award, and may also include the need. All interested students are encouraged to apply. Decisions will be made by August 01 for the Fall semester and by January 30 for the Spring semester. Each applicant will be notified of the committee decision with a letter sent from the Program Director. Criteria for maintaining the scholarship will be explained in the award letter.

GPA/4.0 x 100

1st Tie Break

Clinical Scores

Clinical Score x 100

2nd Tie Break

GPA for previous semester's grading period

(Top point scores will receive the awards)
