Study Abroad in Spain
Summer 2010
Join us as we travel to Spain for 4-8 weeks of culture and study. During the summer of 2010, the Department of Foreign Language and Literatures will sponsor four- and eight-week programs to Alcalá de Henares.
Located 20 miles outside of Madrid, Alcalá de Henares is the birthplace of Cervantes. Students will study at the prestigious Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, founded in 1499 by Archbishop Cisneros, at the Franklin Institute of North American Studies, housed in the former Trinitary Convent.
While there students will earn 9-15 hours credit, while learning firsthand about Spanish Culture. The Department sponsors optional trips to Barcelona and Madrid’s Prado and Reina Sofia Museums.

Eight-Week Course: May 31-July 30, 2010
