World Peace and Whirled Peas
This course will look at the current issue of hunger and food insecurity with a human rights focus from a local to global level. Food insecurity is linked to a variety of issues such as economics, social welfare, health insurance, and job security. Students will have an opportunity to create a hands-on experience to address a dimension of hunger and human rights in our community.
This course is tentatively set to be offered on Tuesdays at 12:15 p.m.

About the professor
Dr. Radu teaches courses on human theory and diversity, research, and social/economic justice. Her interests in include human rights issues on a local level and the interconnection between social/economic justice and community health and well-being.
