The Musical: An American Art Form
A survey of one of America's greatest contributions to art--the American Musical. Topics discussed will include the history of the musical, contemporary hit musicals, and how to audition and work in musical theatre.
This course is tentatively set to be offered on Wednesdays at 1 p.m.

About the professor
Steve Ray is an Assistant Professor of Theatre and Speech, who designs and directs for UTC Theatre. Steve has worked professionally as an actor, director, playwright and designer in the U. S. and Australia. He has directed or acted in over 20 musicals.
