From Devo to Bono: The Development of Music Videos
This course explores the history of music videos and how videos are created. Where do the ideas come from? What does a gaffer really do? Who is the key grip? How do you write a music video treatment? By looking at music videos from different genres and time periods, we will share ideas about visual storytelling and the development of music marketing. Did video kill the radio star?
This course is tentatively set to be offered on Tuesdays at 1:40 p.m.
Note: Please check the schedule of classes for the most up-to-date information about meeting times, locations, and availability.
