Connect Your Learning Style to Your Major and Career Decisions
This course will explore students' learning styles. According to Kolb, learning style is significantly linked with college major and career choice. Students will use Kolb's learning style materials to determine their style and then explore the careers related to those styles. Not understanding the careers to which you are best suited could lead to a frustrating and stressful career choice.
This course is tentatively set to be offered on Tuesdays at 3:05 p.m.

About the professor
Dr. Warren-Kring teaches strategies for adolescent literacy, English methods, and introduction to education in the Teacher Preparation Academy. She has also taught workshops on learning styles. She has worked with freshmen at the University of Central Florida, so she is familiar with many of their concerns.
