An Introduction to Ethics in the Changing Global Marketplace

This course provides an introduction to ethical theories and their effects on individual actions. We will discuss these actions and their impact on communities, organizations and governments/regulatory bodies. In turn, we will discuss how the actions of these organizations and groups influence the ethical environment locally, nationally and globally. Introduce the inter-relationship between ethics, economics and finance.

This course is tentatively set to be offered on Thursdays at 3:05 p.m.

About the professor

Dr. Chopra teaches leadership, entrepreneurship, ethics and economics/finance to engineering students at the graduate as well as undergraduate levels. He has taught freshmen engineering seminars as well as presented keynote lectures worldwide, published numerous papers, and written three books in leadership and ethics.
