Each May the editor, Richard Jackson, takes a number of young poets for a cultural trip to Europe. We rent a house in Slovenia (picture above is taken from the house), do workshops at the University of Ljubljana, amongst ourselves, a program at the Slovene Writers' Union and participate in the international P.E.N. meeting near our house on Lake Bled. We also take a week trip to Italy and a few days to either Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Several other poets, some graduate students, some well beyond graduate school, and some professional people returning to the arts have also come on these trips. The cost is approximately $1950 which includes air fare from Atlanta, car rental, gas and tolls, house rental, and hotels.
