Welcome to Mini Baja

frame

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) hosts three Mini Baja competitions throughout the United States (Baja East, Baja Mid-West, and Baja West).  Baja SAE is an intercollegiate design competition in which teams must design and build an off-road recreational vehicle for a fictitious firm.  The teams compete in several static and dynamic events, including an off-road endurance course.

The 2009 Mini Baja team is designing and building a new Mini Baja vehicle to fulfill the ENGR 385/485 course sequence.  The team must design and build a new vehicle that is capable of completing and ultimately winning a Baja SAE competition.  The team plans to compete in the Baja East competition hosted by Auburn University April 2009.

Check back soon for the team's progression.
