   Saturn Vue

The Vue has gone through many changes at the hands of UTC students. Below is a picture of the vehicle the way we received at the beginning of the project. In order to make this conversion a success, the engineers of H.I.C.E. has worked very hard and has made many changes to the guts of the vehicle. The first step is to gain access to the intake manifold spacer block. This will allow H.I.C.E. to apply a special modification to the block in order to inject hydrogen into the cylinder without disrupting the stock fuel lines. The next step is to install the tank and all the necessary plumbing, sensors, and wiring to get the vehicle operational. Below are pictures of this process.

Engine : The picture on the left shows what the engine looks like before

disassembly. Then, flowing to the right, the intake manifold spacer block is exposed and

eventually removed and modified. Finally, the spider is installed and the engine is reassembled. Injectors and a gas

mixture monitoring sensor is installed for safety purposes.
