Engineering Management Graduate and Certificate Programs

The Department of Engineering Management and Technology offers a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management. The M.S. Engineering Management degree is designed for people with engineering or science backgrounds who have moved or expect to move into managerial responsibilities. The program addresses important topics such as:

  • Engineering Economics and Finance
  • Quality Control and Reliability
  • Project Management and Scheduling
  • Decision Making and Optimization
  • Leadership and Entrepreneurship
  • Product Development and Marketing
  • Value Management
  • Strategic Management

The Graduate Certificate Programs offered in Engineering Management are:                        

  • Fundamentals of Engineering Management
  • Project and Value Management
  • Quality Management
  • Leadership and Ethics
  • Power Systems Management

Engineering Management graduate program is also offered 100% online, which enables students to take courses at a time and place that fits their own schedules. The courses are delivered using a combination of Blackboard and the Mediasite System, which allows the instructor to broadcast the class both on a real-time basis and archive each lecture for later use.

 

 


Construction Management is the new graduate concentration in Engineering Management.  The M.S. ENGM: Construction Managemnet degree is designed for graduate students who are in interested in the construction and related areas.
