UTC NSF Scholars:

• Receive up to $10,000 in a need-based scholarship
• Experience living and studying with fellow NSF Scholars
• Gain insight from peer/faculty mentoring program
• Benefit from regular scheduled tutorial assistance sessions

To qualify you must:

• Be a U.S. Citizen, Foreign National or have certified Refugee Status
• Have solid ACT or SAT scores
• Complete the FAFSA Application
• Enroll Full-Time at UTC as an Engineering major
• Maintain a 2.8 GPA at UTC

How to apply:

• Complete the UTC NSF Scholars Application (.pdf)(.doc)
• Submit two letters of recommendation
• Write a 300-500 word essay on "Why I Want to Become an Engineer”
• Mail the application, the letters of recommendation, copy of applicant’s most recent High School transcript, and the essay to:
