Welcome to the 2008 Tennessee State Victim Assistance Academy. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Rachal Stutts or Dr. Helen Eigenberg.
The Tennessee State Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence has partnered with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Department of Criminal Justice, the Tennessee Victims of Crime State Coordinating Council, the Office Of Criminal Justice Programs and the Tennessee State Treasurer's Office to offer this Academy.
You should have received a welcome packet with information about the Academy and specific instructions including the class schedule. If you have not received these materials by June, 4, 2008, please contact Ms. Stutts.

You also should have received an email from the listserve. If you did not receive an email, there may be a problem with your email address. Please let us know immediately. All participants are welcome to send correspondence to the list. It is a great way to begin networking, meet your roomates, or ask questions. Each student is expected to come prepared to the Academy as an active participant. A hard copy of this manual will be provided upon check in, so students do not need to print these materials. Click on the above link to retreive the electronic copy. You will receive a hard copy when you arrive and register.
Instructor PowerPoint slides, if available from the instructors, are available. If you wish to print copies of slides to take notes during the Academy, please do so before you arrive as printed copies will not always be provided. There may be some slight deviations from these slides, as instructors make last minute changes, but most should be similar to those on the web page. Click on the above link to access the slides.
