Community Counseling Program. The concentration in community counseling is primarily designed for those persons who are fulfilling the role of counselor in a community setting and who desire to gain a higher level of competence in the field of counseling. The 48 credit program is a basis for preparation for the 60 credits required for licensure as a Professional Counselor in the State of Tennessee. Most students in Community Counseling choose to complete 60 hours prior to graduation.
