Dr. Neslihan Alp, P.E.
Dr. Alp is a UC Foundation Professor and Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs and Research in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UTC. She has a Ph.D. in Engineering Management from University of Missouri-Rolla, M.S. in Industrial Engineering and B.S. in Engineering Management from Istanbul Technical University. She has also completed a two-year Post-Doctorate study in Engineering Management at the University of Missouri-Rolla.
She has been teaching at UTC since 1999. Her teaching and research areas include quality control, project management, layout design, optimization, engineering economy, lean, and six-sigma. She is a register Professional Engineer in the state of Tennessee.

Dr. Ron Cox, P.E.
Dr. Cox is a Professor and Burkett Miller Chair of Excellence in the Engineering Management and Technology Department in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UTC. He has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, MBA from Vanderbilt University, M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tennessee.
He has been teaching at UTC since 1970. His teaching and research areas include globalization and strategic management. He is a register Professional Engineer in the state of Tennessee and Europe.

Jan Evans, M.B.A., A.B.D.
Mr. Evans is the Director of the Cranston Pearce Center and Lecturer in the Engineering Management and Technology Department in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UTC. He is teaching Quality Control, Facilities Planning, Work Measurement, and Manufacturing Process at the undergraduate level, and Advanced Quality Control, Reliability Engineering, Lean Systems, Ergonomics, Technical Entrepreneurship and Leadership, and Legal and Ethical Perspectives in Engineering at the graduate level.

Dr. Aldo McLean
Dr. McLean is an Assistant Professor in the Engineering Management and Technology Department in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UTC. He has a Ph.D. and M.E. in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management respectively from University of Louisville, and B.S. in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad Santa Maria la Antigua, Panama City, Panama
He has joined to UTC in 2010. His teaching and research areas include logistics, supply chain management, and quality.

Dr. Ed McMahon, P.E.
Dr. McMahon is a Professor in the Engineering Management and
Technology Department in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at
UTC. He has a Ph.D. and M.E. in Chemical Engineering from New York University,
and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University.
He has been teaching at UTC since 1984. His teaching and research areas include engineering design, value management, and product development. He is a register Professional Engineer in the state of Tennessee.

Heather Adcox, AIA, LEED AP
Mrs. Adcox is an Adjunct Faculty in the Engineering Management and Technology Department in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UTC. She has a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Interior Architecture from Auburn University. Mrs. Adcox is currently pursuing her master's degree in Engineering Management with the concentration in Construction Management at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and teaching the Green Building Rating Systems course at the undergraduate-level. She is employeed by the City of Chattanooga, Office of Sustainaibility.

Mr. Baggett is an Adjunct Faculty in the Engineering Management and Technology Department in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UTC. He has an M.S. in Administration from Central Michigan University. He has a B.S. in Organizational Management from Covenant College He is teaching Safety and Risk Management, Construction Cost Estimating, Construction Cost Accounting, and Construction Documents and Technology at the undergraduate-level. Mr. Bowers is an Adjunct Faculty in the Engineering Management and Technology Department in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UTC. Mr. Chastain is an Adjunct Faculty in the Engineering Management and Technology Department in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UTC. He has a master's degree in Engineering Management with the concentration in Project Management from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is members of many industry groups including the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), a LEED Accredited Professional, the Project Management Institute, a Project Management Professional (PMP), the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), and teaching the Construction Management Design course at the undergraduate-level. He is employed by a local general contracting firm, The Strauss Company, Inc., specifically focused on business development and pre-construction services.

Mrs. Langford is an Adjunct

Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and B.S. in Civil
Engineering from University of Missouri-Rolla. She has been the president of

Arch Willingham is the executive vice president of T.U. Parks Construction in Chattanooga. He has a B.S. in Building Science from Auburn University. He is vice president of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) professional organization, a board member for Widows Harvest Ministries, an ambassador for the Siskin Children’s institute and a member of the Lookout Mountain, Ga., Planning Commission.
