Kristina Braden

Adjunct Faculty

BradenFor the past 17 years, Kristiina Braden has been earning her public relations and marketing communications “stripes” in agency, corporate and non-profit settings. Along the way, Braden gained some valuable insights that have benefited many organizations in various industries including healthcare, technology, food and beverage, among others. As a result, she is able to facilitate strategic, operational and tactical campaigns for clients regardless of the challenges.

Braden actively participates in Chattanooga Lookout Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) activities, where she serves as the chapter’s treasurer, and is a board member for the Chattanooga Nature Center.

As a firm believer in “giving back” to the profession, Braden is the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) professional advisor, where she is proud to work with so many talented students.

Before giving students previews of the “real world” of media writing and PR at the UTC, Braden encouraged her students at Chattanooga State Technical Community College to learn more about the public relations profession.

When she is not in the classroom, Braden is either consulting, learning, volunteering or simply enjoying life.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in journalism fromNorthern Illinois University and a Master of Arts degree in marketing and communications from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
