Chris Dortch, adjunct faculty
Chris Dortch has spent the last 30 years working in the sports media business.
Currently the editor of the popular Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook and Blue Ribbon College Football Yearbook annuals, Dortch worked as sports editor of the Pensacola (Fla.) New Journal and sports columnist at the Chattanooga Times.
Since 1999, Dortch has edited and written for 18 volumes of the Blue Ribbon series, written five books, appeared as a regular on the Fox Sports South television show SEC-TV, been a featured guest on numerous sports radio talk shows around the country and written articles for various magazines and websites, including ESPN.com, CBSSportsline.com and SI.com. In addition to his work with Blue Ribbon, Dortch is a correspondent specializing in college basketball for Sports Illustrated.
Dortch has taught sports writing at his alma mater, East Tennessee State.
