Scottie Goodman Summerlin is the faculty advisor for Mocs News. She spent 13 years in the television news business, as an anchor, reporter and producer. Scottie
worked in Lubbock, Texas; Wilmington, NC; Little Rock, Ark., and Chattanooga, where she was the main anchor for FOX61 First at 10.
Summerlin has a BA in Broadcast Journalism from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She now spends her time volunteering in the Chattanooga area. She is married to Dan Summerlin, the marketing director at CBL. They have twin boys, Jack and Jake.
