Finding Your Adviser

All Communication majors must have an academic adviser in the department. The Records Office assigns you an adviser when you are admitted to the university (located at the top of your RAP sheet). However, you may see any of the Communication Department full-time faculty listed below for assistance with scheduling and planning your degree. If you are not assigned an adviser, you may be advised by any of the department’s faculty members.

Communication majors should make an appointment at least once per semester to be advised. Advisement codes for registration are not given to students unless they are formally advised by a department faculty member.
