Communication Department Picnic

   
At least 60 communication majors, faculty, alumni and parents attended the Oct. 11 picnic at Riverview Park.  Attendees enjoyed a delicious bar-be-cue lunch, games, prizes and a belly dancing demonstration.  Communication majors and alumni chomped down on the great food provided by the Vine Street Bakery.

Dr. Rebekah Bromley was surprised with a birthday cake in her honor.  However, she refused to reveal her true age.

Janel Watson Lacey, left, communication alum and press secretary for Nashville Mayor Karl Dean, is greeted by fellow alums Holly Cowart, Mandy Morgan and Chloe Morrison and Dr. Elizabeth Gailey.  All four alums served on the staff of The Echo while in school.
