Life so far: Executive Director, Georgia Academy for Economic Development, Inc. “The Georgia Academy for Economic Development is a program I helped start in 1994 as a volunteer; now I run it for the entire state. This is a training program for local elected officials and community volunteers on how the economic development process works, and it also teaches group leadership skills needed to get things done in communities.
