Chattanooga Television audiences may know Brandi King as WTVC NewsChannel 9’s Sarah Jennings.  More on the name change later.

Brandi is originally from Cleveland, Tennessee. She graduated with honors from Bradley Central High School in 1995.  She majored in Television and Radio Broadcasting at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Brandi received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from UTK in 1999 graduating Magna Cum Laude.

From "Big Orange" country she made it back home to Chattanooga and that's where she got her first job out of college at a local radio station. She worked as a spot news reporter and afternoon news anchor for US 101 Radio. Because of another on-air personality had the same name, Brandi was given the new radio name, "Sarah Jennings." That name has stuck during her broadcasting career.

Brandi also worked as a radio news anchor and reporter at another group of
power house radio stations in Knoxville, including WIVK-FM and NewsTalk 99.
She eventually made her way back to the place she loves most - Chattanooga.

Brandi began traffic reporting and general assignment news reporting for
NewsChannel 9 in April of 2003. In 2004, she added anchoring "Good Morning
Chattanooga" to her list. Since then Sarah has also assumed the role of producer, and now anchors and produces NewsChannel9 Midday each weekday.
And, as technology continues to move forward, she is also producing and achoring Webcasts, as well as live streaming newscasts - and writing and updating stories on the news station's website.

Brandi is very excited to be a part of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga adjunct teaching family. She will begin teaching in the spring 2010 semester.
