Zsavonne Perryman Heathcock, 2005 Communication Honors Graduate, has been enjoying every minute of agency life in the fast-paced world of public relations. Zsavonne began her communication career in November 2005 as an Account Coordinator for local PR firm Waterhouse Public Relations. Since moving to Sacramento, Calif. in July 2007, Zsavonne has become an Associate PR Account Executive and Social Media Specialist for Merlot Marketing. She has the privilege of working with national clients Fuego North America, Eldorado Stone and Walker Zanger. Chief Freeman Cooper, left, congratulates Patrol Officer Cleveland on a recent arrest he made of a home invasion suspect. | Amber J. Adams started her career in journalism as the features editor of The University Echo, UTC's student-run newspaper. After graduating in August 2007, Amber interned at The Chattanooga Times Free Press in the feature department. In January of 2008, she was selected as for an internship at Women's Health magazine, a national publication produced by Rodale Inc. In July 2008, Amber completed an intensive, six-week fellowship program for young journalists at The Poynter Institute for Media Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida. Here is a link to her multimedia work for Poynter. | UTC Communication Department graduate J.R. Fitch was recently promoted to Branch Manager of Wachovia Securities (formerly A.G. Edwards' & Sons, Inc.) Dalton, Ga. office. Fitch has been with the firm since 2004 and was awarded one of the firm’s highest sales honors in his second year, Crest Development Track. Previously, he worked as National Sales Manager at Crown Marketing Group. | |
