To help you beat the advising rush and make certain you get signed up for the classes you need, the Communication Department will sponsor two “group advising” sessions. During these sessions, communication faculty will be available to assist students with fall 2009 scheduling. But you must come prepared.
- Bring two copies of your current RAP sheet with you.
- Bring a proposed fall schedule with you.
The first session is Friday, April 3, from 8 a.m. to noon in Frist 203 and 205.
The second session is Friday, April 17 from 8 a.m. to noon in Frist 203 and 205.
It is strongly recommended that attend one of these sessions. However, if you cannot attend either, you must make an appointment with your Communication Department adviser. You may meet with the adviser listed on your RAP sheet or any of these department faculty members: Dr. Alderman, Dr. Bromley, Dr. McGhee-Hilt, or Dr. Simmons. Dr. Gailey is on sabbatical and will not be doing academic advising this semester.
GET ADVISED EARLY. Fall courses are expected to fill up and close quickly!
