Art: Graphic Design (the graphic design minor was removed from the UTC Catalog in the fall of 2001, it is not now available to incoming UTC students)

The graphic design minor is a very valuable course of study for communication majors -- especially those desiring a career in advertising. The UTC graphic design minor is a tightly structured sequencial course of study. Students desiring to minor in graphic design will want to consult with their communication faculty advisor and with a member of the art department's graphic design faculty early in their degree plan.

Communication majors desiring the promotions minor should take ECON 101 and ECON 102 to meet the General Education Category C (Behavorial and Social Sciences) requirement,
Promotions minors should also take for the Category F, Statistics requirement BMGT 211, Statistical Methods for Business, or ECON 201, "Statistics for Economics."
After completing the course (BMGT211 or ECON201) promotions minors should take BMKT 212, "Statistical Methods for Business II," or ECON 202, "Statistics for Economics II."
