TUTORING OPTIONS
If you are looking for help in chemistry courses, you have several options:
- Office Hours: If you miss class, it is your responsibility to learn the material. But, if you need clarification of material, write down your questions and visit your professor during her/his office hours.
- Student Success Center: Located in the 104 CANX (trailers behind the Challenger Center on Collins Street), the Student Success Center offers FREE tutoring for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. First visit the website for tutoring information. You need to complete a form and submit it to 104 CANX before you can begin receiving help. It is a first come, first served basis. Don't wait until the end of the semester when the tutors are the most busy. Get help as soon as you need it.
- Chemistry Club Tutoring: The Chemistry Club offers both group and private tutoring. To find out more about these options, visit their website at http://www.utc.edu/StudentOrgs/ChemistryClub/tutoring.php.
