Research is the capstone experience for students in the Department of Chemistry at UTC. It is an outstanding learning opportunity, the nature of which is both experiential and investigative. It is personally meaningful. It takes place in a setting in which talented faculty and students collaborate in an intense learning partnership. Through research, students gain confidence and demonstrate success. More than any other activity, research prepares students for employment as a professional in their field.
