What is a RAP sheet?
A RAP sheet is a "R"ecord of your "A"cademic "P"rogress. The RAP sheet converts the degree requirements listed in the course catalog into an outline form that shows you which classes you have earned a grade in, which classes you need to take, your GPA information and other degree related information.

How to I get a copy of my RAP sheet?
RAP sheets are available through a student's UTC MocsNet account, under "Student Information".

Do I need a copy of my RAP sheet?
Yes, all students who visit the COB Academic Advisement center should bring a current and correct RAP sheet with them. Almost all answers are based on the information contained in a RAP sheet.

How many hours to I need to graduation?
Students under the 2004 catalog and newer must complete a minimum 120 hours. Students under the 2003 catalog and older are required to complete a minimum of 128 hours. Deficiencies will raise the minimum number of hours required to graduate.

What are the “64 hour” and “60 hour” rules?
Students under a 2004 or newer catalog are required to complete 60 cumulative hours at a four-year institution. Students under the 1999-2003 catalogs are required to complete 64 cumulative hours at a four-year institution.

What is the last “24 hour” rule?
Students under a 1999 or newer catalog are required to complete the last 24 hours at UTC.

What is a 300-400 hour elective?
A 300-400 hour elective is any junior or senior level course course offered at a four-year institution that does not fulfill any other requirement.

What is the “54 hour” rule?
All business majors are required to complete 54 hours of college credit at the 300 or 400 level.

What is the “69 hour” and the “73 hour” rule?

Students under a 2004 or newer catalog are required to complete a minimum of 51 hours or their 120 outside the College of Business. Students under the 2003 or older catalogs are required to complete a minimum of 55 hours of their 128 outside the College of Business.

Where do I find 300-400 hour elective?

300-400 hour electives can be found in almost every department at UTC. Students may select the 300-400 hour elective based on their interest, their prerequisites, their offering, etc.
