Burkett Miller Speaker Series: Ann Coulter
Ann Coulter is the legal correspondent for Human Events and writes a popular syndicated column for Universal Press Syndicate. She is a frequent guest on many TV shows, including Hannity and Colmes, Wolf Blitzer Reports, The O’Reilly Factor, and Good Morning America, and has been profiled in numerous publications, including Time, The New York Observer, and National Journal. She was named one of the top 100 Public Intellectuals by Federal Judge Richard Posner in 2001.
Coulter will speak on "Evaluating the Change in American Government” at noon in the University Center Auditorium. This event is sponsored by the Scott L. Probasco, Jr. Chair of Free Enterprise and is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Accounting Lecture Series: John Houston, CPA
John Houston will speak at the 36th annual Accounting Lecture Series. His presentation will be Choice of Business Entity: Moving into Uncharted Waters. Houston is founder of John D. Houston, CPA, a Chattanooga CPA firm. He has more than 30 years of public accounting experience in the Chattanooga area, including more than 12 years of service with two national accounting firms. The purpose of the series is to bring outstanding individuals in the areas of accounting and auditing to Chattanooga. More information here.

Entrepreneurial Forum: Josh McManus, Co-Founder of CreateHere
The Clarence E. Harris Entrepreneurial Forum
is conducted every year by the Harris Chair to promote dialogue
and interaction between students, faculty and entrepreneurs. Each
year since 1996, a group of 9-12 entrepreneurs are invited to campus
for a half-day program. Participants both interact informally with
students and faculty, and conduct a panel discussion.
The breakfast kick-off session begins at 8:30am and will be held in the Tennessee Room of the UTC University Center. Breakout sessions will start at 10am in the Chattanooga Rooms of the UTC University Center. This event is open to students and the general public.
