Alpha Mu Alpha______________________________________________________
Honor Society for Marketing Majors Membership
Membership status in Alpha Mu Alpha is available to individuals who attend a college or university having an established AMA collegiate chapter, and/or who attend a regionally or nationally accredited institution. The appropriate Alpha Mu Alpha faculty coordinator, on campus, nominates marketing students who meet the academic standards approved by the AMA Board of Directors. The nominees are invited to complete initiation procedures and gain Alpha Mu Alpha Honorary recognition.

American Marketing Association (AMA)_____________________________________
Mission Statement: The collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) is dedicated to connect the members to the various fields of marketing to prepare for real-world experiences by offering professional network opportunities and developing engagements with local businesses. The AMA seeks to provide students leadership building opportunities through continuous involvement with the campus and its students.

Honor Society for AACSB Accredited Schools
Membership
Beta Gamma Sigma only allows the top ten percent of the senior
class, and the top twenty percent of the graduated MBA or
MAcc students to be considered for induction. Students elected
to membership in Beta Gamma Sigma are recognized with the
highest national honor that a student in business of management
at an accredited institution can obtain. They are truly "the
best in business." Qualified students are invited to
join Beta Gamma Sigma every spring.

Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization_____________________________________
Mission Statement: The mission of UTCCEO is to be a source of inspiration, information and support for enterprising students looking to start new ventures. We strive to be the go-to organization for students wishing to build meaningful, working relationships with the UTC faculty, administration and the Chattanooga business community.
Activities
- Produce quality, hands-on programming to utilize the talents of our members and other campus organizations
- Meets with groups that make entrepreneurship work in Chattanooga to inform and inspire our members and connect them to the Chattanooga business community
- Participate in fund raising activities to provide funds for club activities and attendance at the national/regional CEO conferences each year

- Site visits and networking opportunities every Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. with Chattanooga entrepreneurs, business professionals, and startup resources

The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) is a worldwide organization for professionals working in business. The IMA student organization is a chapter associated with the Chattanooga IMA chapter. The purpose of the IMA student organization is to help students network with local professionals and to be exposed to a variety of experts who will speak on topics relevant to accounting student advancement.

- Two Thursdays/month @ 3:30-4:30 in Fletcher 113
- Additionally, IMA joins the local Chattanooga IMA Chapter downtown once a month

SHRM is a global HR professional organization that exists to:
- Build and sustain partnerships with human resource professionals, media, governments, non-governmental organizations, businesses and academic institutions to address people management challenges that influence the effectiveness and sustainability of their organizations and communities.
- Provide a community for human resource professionals, media, governments, non-governmental organizations, businesses and academic institutions to share expertise and create innovative solutions on people management issues.
- Proactively provide thought leadership, education and research to human resource professionals, media, governments, non-governmental organizations, businesses and academic institutions.
- Serve as an advocate to ensure that policy makers, law makers and regulators are aware of key people concerns facing organizations and the human resource profession

National Honorary and Professional Management Fraternity
Membership Membership into Sigma Iota Epsilon is extended to those students who have high academic standing and have demonstrated an interest in management or a management-related area (marketing, sports management, hotel and restaurant management, finance, accounting, CIS, etc.).
