Endowed Chairs

There are three endowed chairs in UTC's College of Business. An endowed chair is the highest honor bestowed on a professor at a university or college. It is awarded to a professor in recognition of past and potential contributions to his/her academic discipline. In addition to the academic honor, an endowed chair often provides funding for support of the professor's teaching, research, and service responsibilities. This funding is typically made available by payouts from an endowment fund.
