Priority Registration

Priority Registration is a two-week period when currently enrolled students register for upcoming semesters. Priority Registration for fall semesters occurs during the first two weeks of April. Priority Registration for spring and summer semesters occurs during the first two weeks of November. This is not an advising appointment. Students should meet with an adviser PRIOR to their registration date.

Students are assigned a registration day and time based on the number of credit hours they have earned to date. A student's registration day and time is the earliest day and time a student can register for the upcoming semester. Students may continue registering for courses up until the last day to add a class for the semester, usually the second week of classes.

Business majors are required to meet with the Academic Adviser during the Pre-Registration Advisement period to go over their schedule and receive their advisement code prior to their appointed registration day and time. Beginning with the fall 2007 semester, business majors will be required to meet with the COB Adviser one time per year for a Pre-registration Advisement session.  Students will meet with the COB Adviser on a rotational basis based on an assigned term.
