| CPA Examination Information
Individuals interested in sitting for the CPA must meet the following
requirements:
• An accredited baccalaureate degree, in any area of study.
• Minimum of 150 college credit hours from an accredited college
or university.
• 24 hours in Accounting course work.
• 24 hours in Business course work (additional hours in accounting
will apply).
There are several ways to meet the requirements listed.
1) Meet the requirements to sit for the CPA and a Masters
in Accounting.
2) Meet the requirements to sit for the CPA and a BS in Accounting.
3) Meet only the minimum requirements to sit for the CPA.
Before beginning any program, consideration should be given to
which option
is the best fit with your ultimate goal, financial
abilities and time constraints.
