Priority Registration

PRIORITY REGISTRATION:  Priority Registration is a two-week period when currently enrolled students register for upcoming semesters. Priority Registration for fall semesters occurs during the first two weeks of April. Priority Registration for spring and summer semesters occurs during the first two weeks of November. This is not an advising appointment. Students should meet with an adviser PRIOR to their registration date.

REGISTRATION DATES:  Students are assigned a registration day and time based on the number of "earned hours" in the UTC student information system.  Outstanding AP credit, dual enrollment credit or transfer credits could delay a student's registration date.  The registration day and time is the earliest day and time a student can register for the upcoming semester. Students may continue registering for courses up until the last day to add a class for the semester, usually the second week of classes.

PRE-REGISTRATION ADVISEMENT:  Business majors are required to meet with the COB Adviser a minimum of one time per year during the Pre-Registration Advisement period to go over their schedule and receive their advisement code PRIOR to their appointed registration day and time. Meeting for advisement once a year helps to ensure you are on track to meeting your degree requirements; are aware of any recent prerequisite changes; and will meet your anticipated graduation date.
