“I increased the awareness of the UTC College of Business and the Accounting and Finance departments to regional firms in the Knoxville and Nashville areas, one of which that conducted on campus interviews for the first time at UTC. "

James was active in Beta Alpha Psi, the accounting honors society. He helped organize Meet the Firms, an annual recruiting event for accounting and finance majors, and increased recruiter participation to include the Knoxville and Nashville markets. James volunteers at his church and the Ronald McDonald house. He outsold other salespeople in the district for three consecutive months while working part time. While attending school full time, he works full time, and cares for his wife and three children.

James graduated December 2007 and is employed as a Data Analyst at Beacon Verification Services.
