Sherita completed an accounting degree at the University of Memphis in 2004 and completed the Master’s of Accountancy program in December 2006. She has worked for McCright and Associates, UTC, and Somerville Bank & Trust Company. She also participated in seasonal work for Joseph Decosimo and Co. and Jackson Hewitt Tax Service. As an undergraduate, Sherita received scholarships from the Attorney-CPA Foundation, the Tennessee Society of CPAs, and the American Society of CPAs. She was also a member of Beta Alpha Psi and selected for Who’s Who among American College Students. Sherita has also volunteered with the Greater Urban League of Chattanooga, the City of Chattanooga, the IRS, and participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. She has already passed the Auditing portion of the CPA exam and is currently studying for the remaining parts. See Sherita's complete resume.
