Tracks for finance majors
Beginning in the fall of 2007, finance majors may choose one of two tracks, the Business Finance Track or the Investments Track. The Investments Track is particularly helpful to those interested in preparing for the CFA Level I exam.
Finance Concentration
15 hours including: Finance 318, 320, 321, 412, 421
6 hours including: Accounting 312, 408
12 hours from either Option A or Option B below:Option A: Business Finance Track
3 hours including: Finance 423
3 hours chosen from: Any 300 or 400 level Accounting or Finance course
6 hours chosen from: Any 300 or 400 level course in Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Management, Marketing or Business Administration 390rOption B: Investments Track
3 hours from: Finance 423 or Business Administration 390r
9 hours including: Finance 403, 431, 488
