Welcome to the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga! Our department offers degree programs in Biology (B.S.) and Environmental Science (B.S. and M.S.). Our programs are characterized by excellent teaching, diverse research opportunities, and an intense commitment to the education and lives of our students. With over 600 majors and more than 90 different course offerings, our department provides a diverse and vibrant learning environment.
